Product Description
Chapters cover what instructors want students to know about MIS while Extended Learning Modules (XLMs) show students what they can do with MIS. A contemporary writing style and a wealth of examples engage students like no other MIS text. Arranged with chapter opening cases that highlight how an organization has successfully implemented many of the chapter’s concepts and chapter closing cases that help students apply what they just learned gives students the hands-on knowledge that is applicable in both their personal and professional experiences.

The Systems information in this book is very much up to date and pertinent to tne business field of Management. Everything that comes with the package; the CD and MISouece 2007, is very educational and informative. If I were a university profeesor I would use this book in my classroom. I fully endorse this book for educators and students alike.

5 out of 5 stars Vital Information Systems knowledge   February 15, 2009

This book was a requirement for a college class and as such, would therefore need to fulfil the expectations for the course itself. It is extremely robust in details, graphics, examples, case studies, etc. Included with the book are two CD-ROM's which add greatly to an already ample text. Although this book is VERY expensive, it deserves 6-stars ... I am not kidding!!!

2 out of 5 stars Undergrad level text. Very very shallow.   May 18, 2009

This is an undergrad-level textbook. It's shallow. I had a grad-level Information Technology course using this book and it felt like a waste of time.
